How to Install Solar Garden Lights?

Choose the Installation Location Select a spot with unobstructed sunlight (ideally 6-8 hours daily). Avoid shadows from trees, buildings, or structures. Ensure the area is flat and stable for easy placement or drilling. Prepare Tools and Components Gather tools: screwdriver, wire cutter, wrench, and a level. Unpack the solar panel, LED lamp, rechargeable battery, mounting hardware, and wiring. Assemble the Components Attach the solar panel to its bracket using screws. Ensure the panel faces south (Northern Hemisphere) or north (Southern Hemisphere) for optimal sunlight. Connect the solar panel wires to the LED lamp and battery, following the polarity (+/-) markings. Secure connections with waterproof tape. Install the Solar Panel Mount the panel on a wall, fence, or stake using brackets. Adjust the tilt angle (20°–30° from horizontal) to maximize sunlight absorption. Ensure the panel is secure and weatherproof to withstand wind and rain. Position the LED Lamp Place the lamp in the desired location (e.g., flower beds, pathways). Use a spike or adhesive base for ground mounting. For wall-mounted lamps, drill holes and secure with screws. Connect Wires and Test Run wires from the solar panel to the lamp and battery. Use conduit pipes to protect wires from damage. Expose the panel to sunlight for 6–8 hours to charge the battery. Test the lamp at night to ensure it lights up automatically. Adjust and Maintain Fine-tune the lamp angle for optimal lighting coverage. Clean the solar panel monthly with a soft cloth to remove dust or debris. Avoid Low-Light Areas: Install in sunny spots; shaded panels reduce efficiency. Battery Care: Store lamps indoors during extreme cold or rain to prolong battery life.

What are the advantages of solar garden lights compared to LED garden lights?

About solar garden lights, it has: Solar panels: mostly made of monocrystalline silicon/polycrystalline silicon materials, responsible for photoelectric conversion, with a conversion efficiency of 15-22%. Batteries: common lithium batteries or gel batteries, the capacity determines the battery life (generally 3-5 days of lighting can be maintained on rainy days). Controller: intelligently regulates charging and discharging to prevent overcharging/overdischarging, and some high-end models support APP remote control. LED light source: energy consumption is only 1/10 of incandescent lamps, and the life span can reach more than 50,000 hours. Lamp body structure: cast aluminum, stainless steel or engineering plastics, both waterproof (IP65 grade) and corrosion-resistant. Workflow: Absorb sunlight during the day → solar panels generate electricity → energy storage → photosensors trigger night lighting → battery power supply → cycle the next day.   What about the difference between LED and SOLAR? , while LED garden lights rely on grid power. Solar systems eliminate wiring costs and avoid complex trenching for underground cables.   . They produce no light pollution or harmful radiation, unlike some LED systems.   . LED lights require fixed wiring and grid connectivity.   Low Maintenance & Durability Solar lights have fewer components (no wiring or transformers) and typically last 5–10 years with minimal upkeep. Batteries may need replacement every 4–6 years, but modern systems are increasingly reliable. LED lights depend on grid stability and may face higher maintenance costs for wiring repairs.
