1. Basic material types and performance requirements
Low carbon steel (Q235/Q345 series)

Strength standard: yield strength ≥235MPa (such as Q235B)1, wall thickness ≥3mm (conventional street light pole) to 10mm (high pole lamp).
Applicability: widely used in high-intensity scenes such as urban roads and squares, wind resistance must be ≥40m/s.
Stainless steel (304/316L)

Corrosion resistance: suitable for humid and salt spray environments (such as coastal areas), but the cost is high and needs to be matched with hot-dip galvanizing or spraying to enhance protection.
Aluminum alloy

Lightweight: low density, suitable for parks or decorative lamp poles with low load-bearing requirements, and corrosion resistance is naturally better than ordinary steel.
Reinforced concrete

Economical: low cost and durable, mostly used in factory roads, but single shape and heavy weight.
2. Anti-corrosion treatment standards
Hot-dip galvanizing

Process requirements: pickling → hot-dip galvanizing → passivation, zinc layer thickness ≥80μm (single side)18, copper sulfate test 6 times without iron exposure.
Lifespan: ≥20 years (conventional environment), salt spray area needs to be combined with plastic spraying.
Electrostatic spraying

Coating parameters: plastic layer thickness ≥80μm (commonly 100μm), adhesion reaches GB9286-88 0 level (no shedding in the cross-cutting test)
Material selection: outdoor pure polyester plastic powder, UV resistant and adaptable to -35℃~50℃ temperature difference.
3. Structural design and safety standards
Welding process

Welds need ultrasonic flaw detection, in accordance with GB/T 3323-1989 standard, without defects such as pores and slag inclusions.
Plug-in lamp pole plug-in length ≥1.5 times the diameter of the socket (such as high pole lamp).
Wind and earthquake resistance

The pole design must meet GB 50017-2003 (steel structure specification), wind resistance ≥40m/s, earthquake resistance .
Vertical error ≤1/1000, flange thickness ≥14mm (conventional street lamp) to 25mm (high pole lamp).
